This operational model emerged from consultations with David Sacks, a Trump administration figure advising on technology and financial policy.
Political bias saturates Grokipedia’s content, especially articles covering controversial current events. The platform’s January 6 entry validates discredited election fraud narratives while minimizing Trump’s well-documented role in encouraging the Capitol attack. The encyclopedia frames violent insurrection through language suggesting legitimate political grievance rather than criminal assault on democratic institutions.
Musk’s creation of this alternative encyclopedia connects to his persistent criticism of Wikipedia’s editorial practices.
