Jensen Huang Takes CES Stage to Redefine AI Mobility

Jensen Huang, the visionary founder and CEO of Nvidia, took center stage at the Consumer Electronics Show to outline a bold new future for artificial intelligence. In a keynote address that captivated the tech world, Huang argued that we are entering a new phase where machines begin to understand, reason, and act in the physical world.
Central to his presentation was the unveiling of “Alpamayo,” a technology that gives self-driving cars the ability to think like humans. Huang described this as a “ChatGPT moment” for physical AI, emphasizing that the days of simple pattern matching are over. He passionately explained how this tech allows vehicles to explain their driving decisions, bridging the trust gap between humans and machines.
Huang also used the platform to showcase the company’s engineering prowess with the announcement of the Vera Rubin chips. He detailed how these chips, which will arrive later this year, use proprietary data methods to achieve stunning performance gains. His presentation included visuals of “pods” containing over 1,000 chips, illustrating the sheer scale of computing power Nvidia is bringing to the table.
The keynote was not just about specs; it was about partnerships and real-world results. Huang shared the stage virtually with the Mercedes-Benz CLA, a car that embodies his vision. By showing the car navigating San Francisco, he grounded his high-level concepts in tangible reality, proving that this technology is ready for the road.
Huang’s speech served as a reminder of why Nvidia remains the world’s most valuable company. By constantly pushing the envelope in both hardware and software, Huang is steering the industry toward a future where AI is omnipresent—not just on our computer screens, but in the vehicles that transport us every day.
