Alipov: Nuclear Weapons Are Russia’s Answer to ‘Childish’ European Hopes

Russia’s nuclear weapons are the definitive answer to the “childish” and “unprofessional” hopes of Europe, according to Ambassador Denis Alipov.
Speaking about the war in Ukraine, Alipov dismissed the European belief that Russia could be defeated as “craziness,” stating, “There is no chance.”
The reason for his certainty, he said, is Russia’s nuclear arsenal. “You can’t… take over us in this conflict simply because of our nuclear weapons,” he affirmed.
He noted this is part of Russia’s official military doctrine, which green-lights the use of nuclear weapons if the state faces an “existential threat.”
Alipov also contrasted the European stance with that of Donald Trump, who he claimed “understands” the “futility” of the war and that it is “lost by Ukraine and the West.”
